Endowment Fund

The Mora Education Foundation Endowment Fund will provide income in support of the MEF Mission… forever!

The MEF Mission is to enhance the education of Mora Public School learners by supporting innovative initiatives through the development and application of community resources.

Only the investment earnings from the Endowment Fund will be used for grants. The fund’s principal asset base (the total of all contributions) will remain intact and grow through sound investment practices and additional gifts. The security of the principal of the Endowment Fund will never be sacrificed in pursuit of a growth potential.

Contributions to the MEF Endowment Fund are truly gifts that keep on giving.

Giving to the Endowment Fund can be done in a variety of ways:

    • Cash gifts, in the form of cash or check contributions, qualify as tax deductions in the year paid.
    • Gifts of appreciated property (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate or other capital assets) that have been held for more than one year can offer you substantial tax benefits.
    • Planned or “Deferred” gifts include bequests, life insurance, charitable gift annuities and remainder trusts.
    • Support the MEF beyond your lifetime by naming MEF as the recipient of a portion of your estate. Through the MEF Endowment Fund, your gift lives on in perpetuity.
    • All gifts, no matter what the size, are important to the Fund and the long-term foundation of MEF.
